So it's been another three months and there has still been no indication of any progress on actually getting a functional TLD in place.  Jonah you seem to have time for every project under the sun, including your seemingly personal goal of restructuring all of opennic, but you never have time to actually complete the first project you signed up for.

Is it time to call for a no-confidence vote?  Personally I think the records for .o should have been removed from opennic months ago when the registrar system never materialized.

And in the future I would like to propose that we make it a requirement to show a functioning registrar BEFORE calling a vote for any new TLDs.  Seriously, this has gone beyond ridiculous.

Who was supposed to be in charge of that namespace and where did they go? Anyone remember?

Me.

And fortunately enough I'm still around ;)

We're a bit behind schedule with the system, but it shouldn't be cause for concern, everything will be handled soon; OpenNIC is great but I can't devote 100% of my time to this project, with it's relatively small community and all; I'm sure you and many other T1/T2 community members understand.

P.S. Voted upon Charter: "Registrations immediately after approval will be handled manually via email. An automated registration system is in development and will be available at tld.o when it becomes available."
