I've posted this link before. It is somewhat
informative on the topic, but most important
is that the title uses "spoilt". The word can
also be looked up in various on-line dictionaries.

Personally, I think it is important to note
that the article's title is "Spoilt vote",
Wikipedia has a lot of eyes on it, and any
spelling mistakes (particularly in titles)
will be prompted corrected by one of the
many editors.

Please look at that article this time. There
are a number of alternatives to the word there
which you could use if you feel it is
important to avoid this particularly common one.
