Thanks Peter:

As i see it...

The subject is clear: A new tld proposal.

The content is "a justification for that".

The rule was "If nobody appeals, it is approved"...

I remember a big-big debate in the freenode chat about the currency,
but no debate at all about the tld. But these chat "has no records"...

I will continue resolving opennic tlds. (like .com, .org and newnations,
etc)...
Perhaps until dead: They dont conflict with nothing (nor me) at all.

I prefer to give an IP than "NOT FOUND", if im sure the IP is running
something "stable",
more than 50% of time, and there is no doubt about what name
corresponds with what IP
without any kind of interests conflict...

I hope and suggest opennic comunity resolve also .ibu tld.

But im not a politician, i dont want to be that, and if somebody dont
wants to support it,
or if the opennic votation is done or not, it is not my issue...

Honestly: I only resolve DNS queries to the public.

Thanks again...

No many answers, i dont know why...
I would suggest the reason is because despite the subject of your
original message (which I now remember reading) being 'on topic' as
regards proposing a new T.L.D. the first 90% of your message tells of
your venture into a new virtual currency which I for one was not
particularly interested in and was 'off topic' in relation to your
subject. So having got so far through your rather long message stopped
reading it and archived it.

I suggest you re-propose both topics in separate messages so they can be
dealt with on their own merit, then you may get more of a response to
your proposed T.L.D.

All the best, Peter

Hi,

I have nothing (at least in this moment) against your TLD, just the
way it appears to me to be implicated, but if as you say you have
followed the OpenNIC process and the community has 'positively'
accepted your proposal then great.

All I can say is I don't remember reading any of that process,
possibly because I haven't seen the mail thread you refer to. I will
check mine and the OpenNIC archive.

I subscribe to both the discuss list and the operations list and don't
remember this. Maybe I missed it for some reason, in which case I have
no problem, (other than having somehow missed a whole thread despite
reading every single message I receive).

No, Peeter, you are wrong:

Please, read all the messages in this email list about two months
ago
more or less...

(Search "ibu" on the list)...

We had followed STEP BY STEP all the OpenNIC instructions.

AND NOBODY say ANYTHING against our tld.

Are you the first?

Thanks.

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi, Are you
(Alejandro) saying that you and your friends have setup a new
'alt root' and are requesting OpenNIC peer wi th you or are
you trying to push through OpenNIC a new TLD without asking
the community, i.e. ignoring the way OpenNIC operates? Peter

resolve .ibu domains adding this to your /etc/bind/db.root
file: dig ibu. SOA @185.16.40.143 >> /etc/bind/db.root Or
you can add these few lines manually (recommended). You
can get the whole .ibu zone with this: dig ibu. AXFR

Redirect to your web page, or facebook.com

Bonet albogoal AT gmail.com PD: You can register your .ibu
domains at http://registro.ibu, first year free and then
10 IBUs per year. Also, it includes a simple DNS service,
allowing you to create Resuorce Records (without limits)
for your .ibu domains. Of course, dictionary based abuses
will be eliminated... IBU is the spanish acronim for
Universal Basic Income (Ingreso Basico Universal), a new
virtual currency. You can open your IBU accounts on

the known OpenNIC public dns servers resolve .ibu domains
