If someone want's to run some T2s or similiar he should do that, no prob
with, even if i did not like nor use amazon for several reasons.

But if OpenNICs "core" infrastructure like roots / most T1 etc. would be
going into amazon this would be the end of the basic idea behind OpenNIC as
an ICANN "alternative" as the project is then not only dependent from one
country, it is further dependent from one commercial company with it's own
intransparencies.

But even. for security reasons it is important to held a widely choice of
software, hardware, geolocations and IP upstreamers etc. as this is a basic
principle security and availability of "core" internet services...
