While exploring alternative DNS systems, stumbled on it, probably
using DuckDuckGo search.

3 x T1's

ns1.on.ca.dns.opennic.glue
ns4.on.ca.dns.opennic.glue
ns6.on.ca.dns.opennic.glue

<sigh>...yes...way too many...

These ones are more or less stable, I need to update OpenNIC Wizard
with a long list of fixes and enhancements on of these days.....

http://sourceforge.net/projects/opennicwizard/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/qautorouter/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/komport2/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/bigace/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/qtdnsp2p/ (pretty much abandoned for
now, but may get back to it one day)

These do not have public repositories yet. These are still incubating
(CARIBOU++ is my most active project at the moment), CARIBOU++ is
currently running on Texas Instruments LM3S8962 and ST Micro STM32F103
chips:

CARIBOU++
http://8bit.geek/public/index.php?cmd=smarty&id=13_len

CARIBOU++ kernel will be a GPL released RTOS for ARM-based
micro-controllers. I am developing it for inclusion in a commercial
product, the top layer (application) will remain proprietary, only the
kernel will be released under GPL. It is developed as a C++ framework
for small embedded controllers, with only a thin layer of 'C' stuff at
the bottom.

CARIBOU++ was derived from an earlier non-preemptive muti-tasking
kernel included in some open source experimental aviation fuel
injection controller work ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/stingray3/
) and has been pretty much re-written taking into account lessons
learned.

The new CARIBOU++ is a hybrid, it has preemptive "thread" capability
coupled with the previous non-preemptive "task" capability with
various trade offs with respect to selecting which to use for a
specific operation.

Some other open hobby type stuff I work on:

http://8bit.geek/public/index.php?cmd=smarty&id=1_len
http://8bit.geek/public/index.php?cmd=smarty&id=2_len

I participate a lot here as well:

http://n8vem-sbc.pbworks.com/w/page/4200908/FrontPage

I used to be the Linux parallel port device driver maintainer, but I
don't do that any more. I just started to get into the Linux (16Cxxx)
UART device driver because I'm having issues with an 8-port (SB16C1058
chip) PCI card and looks like nobody has been maintaining that driver
a lot lately, so looks like I may have to rope myself into that......

A fine mixture of sysops participating in OpenNIC. I've learned a lot
about the practical end of DNS administration from participating in
OpenNIC.
