OpenNIC is also one of the most successful and long lived alternative
DNS communities available, so it can't be all that terrible. It
actually seems quite reliable for the most part, I think that's one of
the most important qualities one looks for in a DNS infrastructure.

All human systems, groups, workplaces, communities, and so forth have
their issues, growing pains, and so forth that they have to work
through from time to time, it is always an evolutionary process, and
that is completely normal, it is just the way souls operate when they
are engaged in the human experience.

In other words, when travelling from point A to point B, one does not
just appear suddenly at point B, there is a journey in time, however
long, or however brief, there is a journey, always. It is not the
destination that is the life experience, but it is the journey between
destinations.
