I will try to reflect some thoughts and ideas I have in subpages (see
end of text).
I've started going through the wiki, and I have questions - as a
(relatively) new member:

- is there a need for a german and/or other localization group
(Translation WorkingGroup)?

- old action items:
as i have no reference for the threads currently:
- meetup:
- i think it's a good idea, but I suppose we are all a bit
too much squattered across the globe?
- dnssec:
- what has been the result of this, the thread seemed to have ended.
is it still ongoing or has it been dropped?
- git:
- what was the purpose of having a server?
move all website, wiki, and eventually admin provided scripts
for setting up tier2 servers into repositories?
sounds like an idea where one could eventually get rid of
wordpress and do something with a current design.
- PublicRelations:
- tomorrow I will start working on a set of tools for addressing
projects like autonomous and leftist spaces/projects/...:
short presentation, email form, ideas in general, also sponsoring
etc.
- related to above, I will address the (translated) federation of
german speaking anarchists organized in the international of anarchist
federations (FdA IFA) and local groups of the federation about a talk on
digital safety and/or in general on OpenNIC and other projects. (yes
this is getting messy in the email, better take a look at the
"project_libertad" wiki page on the opennic wiki.)
- i will make those presentations and other things which will become
work in progress this week available on my - currently not 24/7
online - git hidden-service.
- General:
- voting system -> what about liquid democracy inspired voting tools
like
- https://github.com/liqd/adhocracy
https://adhocracy.de
http://liquidfeedback.org
I have not tested them yet myself selfhosted, (it's on my todo list)
but it could be an addition to the workflow.
- just something I'm going to check myself and keep up to date with:
see if OpenNIC can be compatible with the upcoming GNU consensus
rewrite.
-> in general, what about:
.onion hidden-service for opennicproject.org ,
-> as they are currently working (in dev build of extension) on
git integration, what about drupal CMS as a potential new front
website?
- documentation / wiki in general currently is, well let's just say
visually unappealing. I can live with that, but I like to compare other
projects to gentoo wiki and organization. there's room for improvement.

It's very likely I forgot a thing or two I wanted to say, I will put
this (later, not today) into subpages linked on
http://wiki.opennicproject.org/libertad_project

Thanks for reading through the whole lot and eventually replying,
