There is already a mailing list archive at http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.network.opennic.general

The ones built in to mailman aren't working right now and that already has archives so use it. As for IRC, There is a weeks worth of logs somewhere that Jeff (Shdwdrgn) keeps.

Perhaps there could be a mailing list archive as well as an IRC archive
on the wiki (though I'm fairly positive that one already exists, but
should be at least linked to, for ease of access, in the wiki, if not
integrated as such) and we just keep this mailing list as the main sort
of forum device.
