Wow what a thread to greet you when you open up your e-mail for the day!

Julian, it really isn't nice to hear anyone using the f word in a mailing
list like this, especially from one of the lead members. It seems that Jamyn
has already contributed to OpenNIC with the points made. So even if Jamyn was
to disappear tomorrow there would be a net gain to OpenNIC.

I realise you have seen many come and go, but if you want people to hang
around, you need to encourage them, they are not aware of or responsible for
previous fly by nights.

It doesn't really matter if a person passess through if they have something
positive to offer, which, in this case I think they do.

They are also more likely to stay if you don't attack them! ;-)

As you say, OpenNIC is made up of volunteers, but so are many other projects
and they have a much more professional and polished product.

Can we clarify, is OpenNIC trying to get main stream adoption, or is it just
a place for geeks?

For me doing something for freedom and free speech on the Internets is my
main reason for being part of OpenNIC as such appealing to as many people as
possible is my hope, in which case the new improvements are very welcomed.

Regards, Peter
