That sounds a good plan. My own preference would have been ikkiwiki to
compile the static pages, but that is just a personal choice.

I know that my previous suggestions for a quite different logo were not
liked here, but I would also suggest reconsidering the logo. IMO, it
should stress the "open" rather than the "nic", because openness is a
key philosophical and practical feature.
