In my view, anonymized logs are logs that are kept but maybe masking the IP addresses or other identifying information so they can't be directly linked to you. Whereas no logs kept would indicate that no query logging of any kind would ever take place.

Of course, many servers probably don't keep logs but are using the anonymized checkbox to indicate that point, which is why it was decided to differentiate between the two options. Any server operators that do that should probably update their server page to show that purple flag instead.

It's really just a scale,

1. Full Logging/No or Unknown Policy
2. Anonymized Logging
3. No logging
