I wonder what you think that OpenNIC is about.
Why would one want an alt root. I ask because
people (not just you) seem unclear about what
it is they wish to have or achieve here.

I personally hang in here because I believe in
DNS alternatives. I don't really have much
interest in discussions about magical letter
combinations that will save the world.
