By knowing where people are coming from it would allow T2 operators to
more effectively position their servers for optimal usage, as well as
helping to proactively check for potential issues with or reasons for
using OpenNIC in other countries. I don't really have much of an issue
with this. If only the first two octets of the IPs are recorded that's
really not identifying information, though perhaps data should be
rotated out into larger bins (e.g. page views could have bins for
countries, so IP addresses aren't kept around).
