Hello all, my names Craig, and I looked over the policies, but couldn't find anything forbidding this kind of message, so I hope I'm not about to get in trouble for violating a policy I haven't seen yet!

 

I'm totally blind and very deaf myself, so don't go out on my own, only go out with my support worker, who's like a second mum to me. Recently heard about the OpenNic project, about 2 or 3 weeks ago and finally switched over to an opennic dns server! its like opening a whole new internet, just knowing all the tld's that I can now access is amazing!

 

I'm very into decentralized stuff and crypto currency, but have to be careful as far as earning money is concerned, the benefits people [department for work and pentions] basically social welfare, can get very nasty about earning when your on benefit, and don't even get me started on the tax forms urgh! so if I have to stop with investing a little in crypto currencies, to see if they grow, because the government don't like it, I was thinking, what am I going to do now, stuck in most of the time! But, Opennic has come to the rescue. I don't know what stuff I can do on a voluntary basis, I'm pretty technical, but no good at all with programming, but have a super fast internet connection, virgin media 350mbps, so well able to handle a dns resolver if someone would help me set it up? Also going to be very interested in things like votes and discussions, sounds wright up my street, looking at pros and cons for an idea and deciding if I like it or not, also happy to become a moderator, if the lists have moderation?

 

Hoping also to make a lot of new friends in this comunity!
