Well, whatever.  :D  I'll continue to direct people I know that are
looking for an alternative, to use OpenNIC root servers, or mine which
cascades OneNIC.  Epik can do whatever they want, people using OpenNIC
will resolve the original TLDs.  In all fairness, ICANN can do the
same, to both OpenNIC AND to Epik (as with .free; and don't get me
started on that, again), for those who won't move from ICANN.  ie. 
Everyone who uses the default DNS from traditional ISPs (like most
people).  Don't know how the plan to painlessly solve for that problem.
Either Epik really doesn't understand how DNS works, or their heads are
so far up their sphincters, they haven't had oxygen for years.

And then he has the gall to end with:
"The names that we did register will continue to resolve across our 
network. We reserve the right to re-open those name spaces at a time
of 
our choosing.

Seriously.  What an arse.  His or a rep of Epik's hot air will get no
traction here.  They can carry on with their narcissistic BS.
