Sorry Julian, I don't understand what you mean?

I am assuming that all emails sent to this list are visible to the world and
thus google? If so, then the archives can be scanned for addresses, am I
right?

If I am and I unsubscribed, would all my messages (and so my address) be
removed from the archive? If not could they be?
