I believe so. I think that each registrar should have an email or contact form or perhaps a TXT record with their contact info until we get whois running. I think that all TLD ops should make it as easy to contact them as possible!
Something else I have considered is a centralized support system with all the TLDs as departments with their respective owners able to log in and do whatever is necessary (support.opennicproject.org or something).
I'll work on implementing this. However, in the meantime, I just messaged him on facebook. It seems the only way for now because I know he is on the list :).
