Hi,

I may be far away & out of subject/context but PLZ let me through an
idea regarding to "where a large number of servers are shut down at
once, it hurts opennic's credibility and reliability"

How about using a project like dnsdist [0]

With that in place we can provide a smaller subnet of external T2
nameserver but that wouldn't affect if a large amount of dns servers are
being shutdown or even ddos affects it's service.

Of course that approach isnt a win-win situation cause then you have to
operate an (or many) extra dns servers to act as load balancers. And
then there is the issue of geolocation. Perhaps a load balancer for
every country(?) would be a better solution.

If such proposal has already been discussed in the past, plz forgive me
as I am new in this list. Is just an idea that i am considering for the
company I am currently working for preventing the above problem. But I
havent use it yet and I dont have more insights on the matter.

Have a nice day and PLZ keep up the amazing work you have all done till now.
