But this could not be the significant point at all - even if it is a
significant point.

Yes,
but another important point is the reliability of the root NS system behind.
This would get discussed in march around the "published" anonymous root DDOS.
As "stronger" the root of OpenNIC would get - in any way - i.e. by IT
ressources but even by a non-technical organisational structure and board
fits
the needs and idea behind OpenNIC - which has to be stated very clearly and
should be secured by any kind of contracting / manifest etc.. THis is i.e.
why
the RIRs like RIPE got much power from the back of most ISPs etc..
