Especially a typical email robot on the rgistries and whois service(s) would 
be nice as this is "standard" in the "classic" DNS and many domain 
registering / management tools rely on that.

With a running whois it could makes sense to write a patch for official whois 
client sources pacthin in the namespace of OpenNIC.
