It's not...but debate away anyway.

This is a volunteer organization.  Those of us who have been here, who
run the show from behind the scenes, all hold day jobs that keep us
busy.  The software we run with on OpenNIC is stuff that we can deal
with and still manage day jobs, night jobs, and other aspects of our
lives.  I realize everyone has their favorite CMS/wiki/whatever.  But
unfortunately, we simply don't have the time necessary to install and
maintain personally-championed frameworks.  Unless, of course, you
want to pay my consulting fee, at which point I'd be glad to talk to
you about implementing what you have in mind.

Sorry to come across so curmudgeonly, but since I've seen very few
people with good ideas actually stick around for the long run (yeah,
I've been here 10+ years, right on this list), I'll stick with what I
know. 

BTW Mike this isn't aimed at you personally.  I just chose to reply to
yours so I could keep my response in the thread.
