7 days might be too abbreviated a timescale. Working-registry
requirements being why I said it was a "proto-proposal". I suppose I
actually expected opposition to the idea and worked more on
counterarguments and counter-counterarguments in the last few days.
Luckily, these are my days off from work, so I can actually get some
things done with the rest of today and tomorrow.

Events are moving faster than I expected, but I'm not exactly
complaining. :)
