What open nic needs is a massive user base. Its hard to argue with 50 thousand users. You get that, then you go to congress.
But by all. Means. Write a letter. Then you have something to argue about. Lol

As for ICANN watching this list, I'm not sure
if you're kidding or not, but I would suggest
that there is an extremely small chance that
it could be the case. :)
