I feel same when .RUS voting was going.
So I can understand what you feel.
Since than community wrote more clear voting rules in WIKI.

My opinion: for now many of the members of OpenNIC just like to live in
closed world and they don`t like when someone disturb them.
As I told before if they don`t change this OpenNIC project will stay closed.
