As a follow-up, I thought I might clarify a few things about my system as I have received a few off-list questions about what my software can do.
About 3/4 in development, I was thinking that I could make it do basic DNS management as well as domain registration. It partially worked, but turned out to make the code more complicated and tedious than I thought was needed for the time being. So I stopped.
My system right now allows user registration and user detail management. That's good. It also allows users to register and maintain a domain registration with a TLD eg: yourname.TLD. It currently accepts only nameservers for domains at the moment. Within a day or so I hope to implement the ability for users to specify custom nameservers eg: ns1.yourname.TLD and ns2.yourname.TLD.
What my system does NOT do, is offer a complete domain management tool, yet. It does not function like ZoneEdit or Dyn.com, for example. I hope within the coming weeks to perhaps add functionality similar to those, but that is not there yet. Maybe when we pool the development talent we can pull that off, but for now, my system only manages user and domain registration under a TLD and their details.
Custom nameservers will be added in a short while.
Sorry if there was any confusion previously.
Martin.
