They (ICANN) are almost certainly not good neighbors. If you're referring to Amazon we might have a better chance with them but I'd still put it down to virtually 0.

Also I don't think any OpenNIC TLD operator wants anything to do with an ICANN TLD operator anyways. The fact of the matter is ICANN has claimed it basically and we can't feasibly coexist with an ICANN counterpart.

That's not a bad idea if someone wants to try it.  Most likely your
response will be 'deal with it', but if someone who can tolerate that
sort of thing wanted to look into it, that might not be a bad idea.
