Most shared hosting is conditional based on the FQDNS of the resource.

Some back-end hosting panels (namely cPanel, among others) validates the existence of the domain using the server's own DNS resolvers

This makes it impossible to host OpenNIC domains on shared-hosting servers that don't explicitly allow (via whitelist or DNS) OpenNIC TLDs

as using an OpenNIC domain on a host I seriously doubt
there's any that don't. They give you an IP and it's up
to you what you point at it.
