See, THIS makes much more sense.

I have a tech I made that uses MQTT.  I can pass all message traffic in
what ever way I want, including transparently.  If I want to pass
traffic to an IRC channel, I could pass things by way of email, social
media, or some custom chat software.  It makes sense to investigate a
way that all public conversations use some similar type of open
technology to pass info between communications channels as an
aggregator or bridge between communication channels.

This type of methodology of communication distribution and disbursement
can be set up as a distributed system so no single host can control
conversation, yet shared filters can be implemented to kill spam or
assign roles of "authority" such as moderators.

That's something I could investigate.
