Seeing as I was called out specifically in the initial post, I figured I 
should chime in. Adding such a time limit just seems arbitrary to me. I’ll be 
voting for no change to the current system, barring some extraordinary 
argument. Is there any precedent for such a system in other democratic 
setups?
