As also said before, we name ourself "OpenNIC" as we we not only provide DNS
access and consuming, but also the ability to register Domains.
This all falls under the purpose of OpenNIC.
Else we could name our self like OpenDNS (if it would be unused), but we
don't.
So the usage of OpenNIC includes not only the consuming of the DNS data, bit
also the registration.
And our purpose is clearly to be at "No Cost (Gratis)" so is clearly also
includes the registration.

If you want to monetize registrations do it under another project, with
another name.
Maybe we will peer with that project, but it would be clear, that its another
project.
As we also peer with new nations, that also has other policies to register
domains.
