Ok, the new script has gone up and initial tests seem to go perfectly. This is the script which works as a cron job. Or, can be run manually, it just means that newly registered domains on your TLD wont be recognised until you run it.

It detects if there have been any domain changes (MUD4TLD modified to accommodate this), makes a copy of the TLD database (for itself and the WHOIS server), init_tld generates the zone file and then reloads bind.

Setting it to run every 5-20 minutes should pose no problem, as it detects for the presence of a flag file which, if it doesn't exist, simply causes the problem to stop. If it does exist, it continues on with the above.
