True, and recommending servers based on ping times may be a better way of
doing it.

If it was my code I might experiment with this, but it isn't.

I thought and still think it's a good service to provide on the websites home
page, and geo location seems somewhat logical even if not necessarily the
best way to do it.

It's also a starting point for any new comers. If they wish to learn more
about D.N.S. then they may go on to choose different servers later.

I'm not sure if they still do, but OpenDNS used to have their two I.P.s on
the home page for those that knew what they were doing. Also, as a
fundamental part of what we do it seems a good idea to have them there.

I assume as no one has said they think this feature is a bad idea we're happy
to keep it?
