It tells me I'm in Germany, when I'm in Iceland. Clearly it's just
looking up the IP it sees, compares it so some crappy geoip
database, and returns the answer to the query.

In general, we shouldn't force users to disclose their actual location
as tied to their browser. An option, yes, but not the only option.
