Between tools and the way we use them, I don't see a need that's being
left unfilled. We have chat, mail, and a wiki which could be adapted
to store IRC logs and is already used to condense ideas. As for the
way we use them, that's pretty much 100% derived from what we need.
Adding more tools or more regularity is as useful as adding more US
nameservers, until a reason for it is expressed.

Perhaps I'm in the minority here, as I don't particularly like being
around people, but I will not be using voice or video chats. The
mailing lists and IRC offer me both the intellectual and social
fulfillment I participate in OpenNIC for.

I will warn against giving people too many tools. Without some degree
of a defined workflow or communications environment, little grops
start forming and people are never heard from. Not entirely related to
#3, but this is why I generally don't feel sorry for people that say
IRC and mail are too inconvenient.
