I would counter this by arguing that a lack of T2 operators tends to
lean OpenNIC more toward being irrelevant.

If I would have detected this kind of tone when considering signing
onto OpenNIC, there would likely be zero OpenNIC resolvers in Ontario,
Canada right now for instance. I knew near zip about DNS when I signed
on, and I think if I would have sensed a kind of authoritarian
attitude, that probably would have done it for me, and I would have
probably backed off.

I know there are arguments on boths sides of this, I'm just cautioning
about coming off as too authoritarian.

Sorry for getting a little off topic....on topic; yes, I agree, if
operators don't respond to communication attempts after xx days, pull
the plug on them.
