For good performance, you will probably want more than 128M of memory.  Bind9 will try to cache as much as possible, and just judging by what I see here, you would probably want to start with at least 256M of ram.

I started with small local ISPs yesterday. Some of them don't run
their own local DNS caches. And guess what? One of two already wants
one. I will ask them if I may disclose their name and then post more,
if there is interest.

At least this gives us more T2 caches, at best the providers use them
themselves and tell their customers about it.

Doing something about freedom, getting mentioned somewhere and
generally being a "good guy" seems to be a strong incentive, if you
ask for a small commitment to start with. But what more than 128MB
memory and some bandwidth does a T2 need?
