Hi.

I vote YES, provided that the charter and purpose of the .RUS OpenNIC TLD is expanded to include protection of privacy and freedom of speech as its official mission/raison d'être.

Dmitry, would you consider adding the above 2 points to the charter?
Ofc I can. Why not. Thanks for offer and support.

Done:
Dot RUS is targeted to those who may want a domain with the association with Russia and/or an free alternate to .ru domains including privacy protection and freedom of speech.
Also I tried to fix domain expire explanation (as one of the OpenNIC members noted that he don`t understand it exactly). I hope that it is more clear now.

Is the .rus T1 server candidate ready for registry and resolve names? For now ns1.rus and ns2.rus don`t pass OpenNIC tests http://report.opennicproject.org/t2log/ as one of the OpenNIC members noted:

These servers are now for those who will want to see .RUS page already now.
For those who may want to check register system.

If voting will end with "YES" I will provide T1 DNS server that will
pass test.
As I already done with
https://servers.opennicproject.org/edit.php?srv=ns5.ru.dns.opennic.glue
Also there is no script for DNS zone regeneration ready yet but whatever I will reply on you question "YES, it`s ready.". Why ?
It don`t take much time to do script and T1 server. I thought if TLD will be approved I will do separate DNS servers just for support of .rus TLD.

Web-based registration system already written by me and already working and tested by 6161 AT protonmail.ch (my thanks to him for this again).
You can test it too by accessing http://register.rus/ page, if you want.
As I said before: the simplest way to do this is to edit your system hosts (/etc/hosts if it is unix OS and %WinDir%\System32\Drivers\Etc on Windows) file and include there:
91.217.137.34 register.rus
91.217.137.34 www.rus
After it`s done you can open these HTTP pages in your browser without changing DNS settings of your OS.
Or, if you have your own DNS server, just do forward zone for .rus to 91.217.137.1 or 91.217.137.2 (they are masters).

With best regards, Dmitry S. Nikolaev
