(I’m going to assume you meant your reply in response to mine, Kevin)
I disagree. It’s a standard practice to standardize things like this, and
OpenNIC is objectively a predominately English speaking community. Maybe if
we were consistently speaking in multiple languages here you might have a
point, but currently if discussions or votes were happening in any language
other than English on this mailing list, it would be a massive barrier to
communication for the majority of our members, and would be a huge signal
that the people doing so were being dishonest with us.
There are no situations where a discussion on this list is something that a
community member does not “need to” understand. The discussions on this list
are generally high priority organizational matters.
